Chesterfield high schools in Medford League basketball finals Today

MedfordJoin the amazing students of the Medford League from nine Chesterfield County high schools and Powhatan High as they face off in the the Medford League basketball tournament. The schedule includes all teams playing in the morning, leading up to the championship game between Meadowbrook High and Bird High at 11:20 a.m.

The Medford League was created and developed to give high school students with special needs the opportunity to train and compete in the sport of basketball. Through the league, these athletes have the opportunity to participate in a team sport, learn about sportsmanship, have fun and gain support and encouragement from peers in their schools.

Since January, students from nine Chesterfield County high schools and Powhatan High have competed each week against each other in front of gyms full of students and staff.


Thursday, March 15, starting at 9:30 a.m. (Championship game begins at 11:20 a.m.)
