holiday robious corridorWith the holiday season fast approaching, wouldn’t it be nice if there was a time-saving appliance that didn’t need foods to be defrosted, beans pre-soaked, and could even pop popcorn? Well, there is; the Instant Pot. There are five different models and they range in size from 3-8 quarts.

It is a multi-function pressure cooker made from 100% stainless steel that also slow cooks, steams, cooks rice, sautes, makes yogurt, cooks eggs, warms, and can even sterilize baby bottles. Baking is also easy as long as you have the proper pan size. The pressure setting on the Instant pot is about 11psi, so most pressure cooker recipes will need to increase the cook time by 7-15% since it’s slightly lower than regular pressure cookers. There is a smart function on some models that allows you to control time and temperature through Bluetooth with your iphone or tablet. The cost ranges from $80 -$160 and has become the most popular multi-cooker on the market. Hmm.. Might need to have a talk with Santa
